Tailorbird sounds

Tailorbird whistles, calls and songs captured in the wild, differing sharply between clean single phrases on a branch and layered territorial exchanges or post-rain choruses. Several regional subspecies appear, including ashy, rufous-tailed, grey-sided, dark-necked and black-tailed. Every recording runs between eight and twenty-four seconds, so they function as concise foreground cues rather than ambient beds.
