Hawfinch sounds

Hawfinches and grosbeaks produce whistles, chirps, metallic ticks and dry clucks, ranging from single clear calls to continuous songs or group chatter. Several recordings include background noise or a second species such as a thrush. Most last between nine and fourteen seconds, making them short, ready-to-drop vocalisation cues rather than ambient beds.
