Killdeer sounds

Killdeer and related plovers deliver single sharp calls, repeated trills, whistles and alarm cries, some clean and close while others echo across tundra, beach or marsh. Several meadow pipits and a Bengal thick-knee appear under the name. Most clips run between fifteen and twenty-five seconds, long enough for a natural loop or to cover a short scene.
