Capybara sounds

Capybara vocalizations range from soft contented purrs and thin offended cries to short barks, low grunts, growls and series of shouts, with some including nose-digging or teeth-clicking. A few recordings capture pups squeaking or whining, while one presents a whole group chatting by the pond. Every clip lasts between nine and twenty-three seconds so they function as distinct calls rather than continuous background.
