Puma sounds

Pumas vocalizing with growls, snarls, screams, hisses, meows and purrs that shift from single short bursts to long continuous calls, some close and dry while others echo through wind, pines or canyons. Several titles also capture a mother with cub, a puma imitating birds, and interactions with humans or other pumas. Most tracks run around twenty seconds so they function as distinct cues rather than looping backgrounds.
