Camel sounds

Camels produce a range of vocalizations from single short grunts and lip flaps to continuous series of moans, growls, and throaty calls, some isolated and dry while others sit inside busy market, farm or caravan scenes with people, footsteps and birds. Several recordings focus on Bactrian or Dromedary camels and a few capture chewing or spitting rather than voice. Most clips run between ten and twenty seconds so they function as distinct cues rather than long backgrounds.
