Lift sounds
Elevator doors opening and closing, motors running, bells ringing on arrival, and full rides that rise, descend or stop, some clean, some noisy, a few layered with voices or footsteps. Several Soviet and industrial models appear, along with freight, hydraulic, service and manual-door lifts. Lengths run from one-second hits and rings to four-minute ambiences that sustain background tension or activity.
