Jackhammer sounds

Jackhammers pound away in steady runs or break stone surfaces, differing sharply from single sharp hits to continuous noisy chatter, close dry recordings versus distant echoing or muffled ones. Several capture an electric model or low hum indoors while others ring out on the street. Lengths range from one-second impacts through ten-second bursts up to nearly two-minute unbroken beds.
