Writing sounds

Pencil, pen, chalk and marker strokes record single letters, signatures and whole lines on paper, parchment or board, some quick and dry, others slow and continuous with occasional inkwell dips or erasures. A few include whispering or page turns that the category name does not reveal. Most are one-second hits for precise cues, while the longest stretch to nearly forty seconds of unbroken writing.
