Santoor sounds

Santoor performances deliver single bright strikes, ringing decays and flowing melodic phrases on the hammered Indian strings, some close and sharp while others bloom with hall reverb. Several titles hide short glissandi, tuning-peg turns and palm-damped muting. At two to eleven seconds these are concise musical hits or brief beds rather than extended loops.
