Chinese Bell sounds

Chinese bells and gongs deliver single strikes, repeated rings and layered chimes that range from clean and dry to heavily echoed or mixed with wind and water. Several titles group them as ancient, small, silvery or temple ensembles whose names do not reveal the metallic choir or distant mysterious takes inside. Lengths run from one-second stabs to half-minute sustained reverberations, giving short hits for punctuation and longer beds for atmosphere.
