MRI Scanner sounds

MRI scanners produce rhythmic thumps, gradient clicks, electronic tones and deep magnetic hums that differ sharply between slow repeating beats, fast tapping sequences and layered room atmospheres with intercom. Several recordings capture specific sequences such as T1, T2, diffusion and gradient echo. All run between four and seven seconds so they function as distinct cues rather than continuous beds.
