Rips and tears of paper, fabric, cardboard, plastic and tape sit alongside flesh wounds, bone breaks, explosions and distant mortar fire. Several violent or grotesque sequences are grouped here that the name does not suggest. Lengths range from single sharp snaps under two seconds to long continuous beds that stretch beyond a minute.
