Baton swings cut the air with sharp whistles while sticks, clubs and maces deliver heavy thuds, cracks and metallic clangs on impact or against shields. Several police and riot-control recordings appear alongside nunchaku, tonfa, Morgenstern and medieval weapons. Most hits and swings last one to three seconds, the longest reaching six.
